The best way to reach the Serviced Apartments Wallis in Breiten above Mörel
Arrival and departure
The apartments are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive after 20:00, please call us in advance. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to leave the room by 11:00 am.
Arrival by car
The Serviced Apartments Valais are directly accessible by car. From Bern, Lausanne and Italy you drive to Brig. There you follow the signs to Oberwald/Furka until Mörel (do not turn off to Ried-Mörel!). From Lucerne and Ticino, drive down the Goms towards Brig.
In the middle of the village of Mörel at the cable car station, the road turns off to Breiten. Check-in is at the Hotel Salina Maris shortly after the Breiten village sign.
Parking
All our guests have a parking place at their disposal, be it on the outside parking lot or in our car park. If you book directly, you receive a nice discount (CHF 5 instead of CHF 10.00).
Getting there by public transport
If you are arriving by public transport, travel as far as Mörel.
Pick up at the train station
If you arrive by train, our chaufferu will be happy to pick you up at the station. We charge CHF 4 per person, but a minimum of CHF 10 per trip. You can reach Breiten on foot in approx. 15 minutes (1 km).
Everything for your bicycle
We also take care of your bike! We offer you a special bikeroom to park the bike. A small workshop and a washing area are also at your disposal. And if you want to charge your electric bike, a charging station with the most common charging cables is available at the Hotel Salina Maris.
Charging station for electric vehicles
At the Badehotel Salina Maris you can charge your electric car, your Tesla or your electric bicycle at our charging stations (chargeable).
Luggage storage
If you arrive before 2 pm, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us. On the day of departure, we recommend that you use the luggage storage service at the Riederalp cable car if necessary.
Car transport by train
If you are travelling by car, we recommend (especially in winter) that you use the car transport system BLS on the Lötschberg (Kandersteg-Goppenstein), MGB on the Furka (Realp-Oberwald) or from Italy on the Simplon (Iselle-Brig).
